CANCELLATION POLICY
Any modification or cancellation in hotel bookings and Registration has to be notified in writing to the organizing secretariat prior to JULY 31, 2010. 30% administrative charge will be applied for any modification or cancellation. After this date, no modification is possible and no refund can be made for cancellations. All refunds will be made after the symposium.

LETTER OF INVITATION
Upon request, the congress organisers will be pleased to send a personal letter of invitation to enable participants to obtain supporting funds or visas for attending the symposium. These invitation letters cannot be considered as an offer of financial support by the organisers.
LIABILITY
The 28th Symposium on Chromatography has contracted an insurance policy, wich will cover all the participants registered. The policy coverages are: personal assistance, luggage, travel cancellation, personal accident  and civil liability coverage. You will receive the details of each coverage and the personalized certificate  in your documentation envelope. See details 
INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
ORAL PRESENTATIONS: (Every talk is allotted a total of 20 minutes, 15 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes for questions)
Speakers are kindly requested to bring their power point presentation to the PREVIEW ROOM.
The PowerPoint presentation should be deliver to the Preview Room at least 4 hours before the start of the session or the day before for early morning sessions. The accepted media are CD-ROM, DVD and USB drive.
The PowerPoint presentation should be saved in the following format:
surname_date_time.ppt

PREVIEW ROOM OPENING HOURS
Sunday, September 12, 2010 – From 16:00 to 19:00
Monday, September 13, 2010 – from 9:00 to 18:00
Tuesady, September 14, 2010 . from 9:00 to 16:30
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 – from 9:00 to 18:00
Thursday, September 16, 2010 – from 9:00 to 11:00

POSTERS SESSIONS:
Posters Session take place in Poster Room 1 (1st floor) and Poster Room 2 (2nd floor).
Accepted posters will be displayed on boards in those areas during all the Symposium. Authors can hang their poster out from 16:00 to 19:00, on the 12th of September. Poster dimension must be 1,20 m (height) x 0,90 m (wide).
The Posters Rooms will be open to the attendees during all the Symposium. Presenters of posters are encouraged to be available during the time of their presentation at the designated session to answer questions.
Posters can be removed from the boards the last day of the Symposium (16th of September): the Tecnical Secretariat and the Organizers are not responsible for the material that will not be picked up afterwords.

INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENTS: Authors are welcome to make individual appointments at the Registration desk, using the “Appointments Board”.

POSTERS CERTIFICATES Authors can recollect their poster certicate at the “Certificate desk”, next to the Preview Room.

HOW TO GET TO THE CONFERENCE CENTER
The Conference Center of Valencia is located in the north-east of the city, in Cortes Valencianas Avenue, one of the main highway of this modern town. It has an ideal location: just a few minutes  from the International Airport Manises and center of town can be easily reached by tram, metro or bus.
BY TRAM   The Conference Center can be reached by line T4 or the Blu line TVV- Dr.Lluch, getting off at “Palau de Congressos” stop.

BY METRO  Line 1 goes from the center of town to the Conference Center.
You can reach the Conference Center from the Manises Airport by metro: take line 5 to “Angel Guimera”, then change to line 1 and get off at “Beniferri”, which is the Conference Center stop.

BY BUS  Bus lines 62 and 63 take to the Conference Center. In the bus maps below, the stops closer to the Conference Center are written in capital letters.
